Kimmo (MD PhD, Title of Docent) works as the head of the clinical hematology department in the Helsinki University Hospital and professor of personalized medicine in the University of Helsinki. Kimmo is also the team leader of the CleverHealth eCare-for-me Acute Leukemia project. Kimmo is without doubt one of the most innovative and pioneering physicians in HUS (or likely the world) as he has had a key role in the personalized medicine initiative, tumor boards, clinical trial matching and OMOP common data model in HUS.
