Junxia Wang
Postdoctoral Researcher
Junxia Wang is the first postdoctoral fellow at the Hematoscope Lab at the University of Helsinki. Her research focuses on deep learning, interdisciplinary medical applications, and intelligent hematoscope image analysis. She aims to tackle the challenge of classifying cells based on cytomorphological images, striving to enhance precision and reliability in semi-automated diagnostics. At the Hematoscope Lab, she applies artificial intelligence to morphological analysis, aiming to improve the accuracy of blood cell classification and diagnostic methodologies as well as acts as supervisor for doctoral students.
